The Google animation for today (14th Feb) is rather sweet.

Here's a little (10m) film that I promise will make your day.

That is SO sweet. Bless his little cotton socks. It reminds me of when my kids set up a shop at their grandparents' house when they were little. They saved things like washed out tins, whiskey jars and cereal boxes which they had set up in the spare room. They kept a LEDGER with how much toy money they had made (pretty good when they were charging Grandpa 32p for a "bottle of whiskey"). They also had special offers and promotions running where you could win spot prizes etc. Which just goes to show how you REALLY don't need to spend lots of money on expensive kids' toys, do you?

Been a while, so here's one for all you teachers and pedants out there.
Basically, it's a shooting game except that you shoot grammatical and spelling mistakes in a document.
Note: there are a lot of problems with the implementation - especially the very short timer which makes it hard to get anywhere - but the idea is very amusing.

I got to the end at about the 4th attempt, but it is hard to get more than about half the mistakes even on the easiest levels.

Level 10 I think. You don't have to read them very thoroughly, there are lots of repeated words and misspellings of THE and AND.

As I spend large proportions of my day doing this anyway, I most certainly don't want to do it in my leisure time. And guess what I'm doing at the moment? Proof reading 31 four page primary school reports...and finding the odd mistake!

I think the metal dog should beware of deep water and electric conections when the bunny gets to see that  :)

Oh don't you worry. I've got his card marked...and I know what he looks like now, so when I come to hunt him down, he won't stand a chance...

Now, although I promised Scurra that I wouldn't keep posting links to Sporcle, this is really odd. Try getting them just by watching, then try blinking fast and see what happens. Weird
