Happy new year from me too.
I hope everyone enjoyed the Christmas break. I even found time to make some progress on my calendar.
Back to making panto costumes now

Dear Mr Optimist, Mr Pessimist and Mr Realist, While you were arguing about the glass of water, I drank it! Yours sincerely, Mr Opportunist.

I know what you mean, I've been tidying (got gazillions of people here tomorrow, so every square inch counts). I have NO idea where ANYTHING is. I like to have piles of stuff all around the shop. Then I can find them.

Dibble did have a go at his though (Father Christmas put one in his stocking) -the sweets puzzle (and realised there is a picture missing - black and white wrapper with a red J on it)

And to you too!
It's suddenly hit me that I have been unutterably rubbish this year and haven't planned any game or puzzles or quizzes or ANYTHING for New Year's Eve. Any suggestions, anyone?

Aw now...come on. HOW long have you known me??
I was sort of hoping that if I sounded suitably pathetic someone kind like Cenwulf would write me some more connecting walls...
So far we've had things like
"Call my bluff" complete with bell and cards and D doing Robert Robinson impressions,
"The weakest link" with me as Ann Robinson
Connecting walls (courtesy CW)
Music Quiz (involving singing and forfeits)
So, what next?

So the early night doesn't appeal!
How many will there be?
I take it old fashioned games like charades won't go down well?

Early night is the best option. I've never seen the appeal in staying up to see the date change on your watch. After all it changes at midnight every night.

Will that be as big a sensation as Gangnam style?
And bunny, you could put on Eurovision radio and have a
cheese party

Cheese party??

Don't say that in the earshot of D...I think he's part mouse with his love of cheese...
I really like charades but one of our friends absolutely hates them.

Happy New Year!
I somehow doubt I'll be awake in 2 1/2 hours, unlike Scurra, who I don't think ever goes to bed before midnight!
