Thank you all :D
I'm just having a sneaky 5 minutes to myself before chaos descends (children home from school and Mum arriving!). Had lots of lovely presents and money and out for an Indian later! Yum yum :D

[Please tell me that your husband being George is NOT how you got your user name... I always remember the Basil Fawlty line "Have you seen my wife make toast?" ]

A Very very late reply to all..
Thanks for the Birthday wishes..
I am The Dragon due to my late hubby being George, I'm also Granny Peg to my grand kids Thanks to George due to my poorly leg... God bless him i'm stuck with it.
Not only was it my birthday it was also my 24th wedding anniversary and I would have spent half my life with him ( I just told you my age!). The next day would have been his 60th Birthday.. He died of prostrate cancer on 24th Feb this year and I miss him every day..
For all you MEN out there if you are having a blood test I ask you PLEASE ask for them to do a prostrate test too, as if we had asked the year before he may still be alive today...
Due to this his best friend has had the op and is now back at work and now my brother.in.law to be is to have the op too. All because they listened to what me and George told them.. Please also pass the information on.. It's just a blood test.. xxx
Hope you all had a good Christmas xxxx

123 dragon...message received and understood. I shall be nagging OH right now. My friend's husband has it too (I only just found out) and it's horrid. Hope you had a reasonable Christmas (and birthday) all things considered, and that the new year brings better things for you.

Hippo Birdy to my wonderful sister (and thank you again for the photographs on the Puzzlebrains Calendar...)

Bet you can't guess what you're getting for a birthday present. :D
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.

Thanks for all the birthday greetings - we arrived down here yesterday after a slow journey, caught up in all the sales traffic...

We're now all sat around, with our various computers. Thomas has his new Leaptop (which is a small tablet-like compueter with various apps for him to play), Scurra & Wulf are on their laptops (as am I, otherwise I couldn't type this!), and Sigur is playing on the DS (we've run out of laptops). I suspect Dad is upstairs on his pc.

Isn't it great to spend some family time together?

I'd better post my Happy Birthday greeting here too - even though it's been delivered in person, together with a very chocolatey birthday cake......
