All through my childhood my Mam used to say she was "21 and a bit". I think I was about 14 before I asked her how big the bit was. :D

Thank you all. Had a good day OH and I went walking part of the Devon Coastal path in the pouring rain, had lunch out and Chinese for dinner. Got a new computer (please can I have the old one bacK  ) pictures, Lost Season 4, vouchers and money.

Now I have to pay for all that and start painting the lounge.
I don't have hot flushes. I have short holidays in the Tropics.

When we had all that rain yesterday (so much for "sunny Devon"!) I thought to myself: well at least she won't have to go outside on her birthday...... Did you get some new wellies?

I went to parents evening at K's school, and arriving a bit late in the pouring rain I abandonned my car in the school grounds, in a surprisingly unused spot, and got out into a big squelchy quagmire. Now I know why the usual places were free. :(

No new wellies. but had some waterproof walking boots as the others leaked, then found my waterproof trousers defie the trading standards, by not
being waterproof.

Walked the costal path by salcombe, would have been spectular had the sun shone, but the sea was mean and moody in the rain.

Happy Birthday 'little' purple rabbit - hope you don't have to go down any deep burrows.
