It was quite good for me, I seem incapable of having the willpower to get up out of the chair to turn the telly on this week I'm so tired (work is ridiculous at present). Talk about one extreme to the other - Sunday, having fun with girlfriends in gay Paris, Monday back to work and a shedload of "merde"...

Has anyone been playing the Google birthday game?
I'm not very good at it (surprise surprise! ) - my best score is 92

141, although I kept thinking it would do something more interesting if I continued. It didn't. I see we all have equally exciting social lives on a Friday evening... God, I wish I had a life...!

Because you may need to scroll down a bit to see the link for "unity web player install now!" which it needs to work.
I didn't bother. (Not that I think Unity game engine is a risk - I just didn't feel the need)

I think it was worth doing as it is a very simple download for this lovely little game....Done the first two (practice) stages and find it relaxing and logical.

Just in case anyone happens to be in the vicinity of Watford this afternoon, Stanley Dee are playing at The Horns at 4 30.

How about this amazing optical illusion.
The two blocks are the same shade of grey.

Hold your finger (or something similar) over the "seam" and you'll see...

This is very clever and thought-provoking.

Warning: it uses the Unity plugin, which some people have had trouble with before.
And secondly, there is some swearing (although only in text.) It only happens once, and it does seem to be "artistically justified" but it also seems fair to warn people about it.

My favourite kind of puzzle is an Outsider Puzzle. I've just found an archive of them which you can print out for free. :D So, just in case anyone else likes them too...

This really isn't passing the time but it's certainly interesting (well, I thought so, anyway!) Click on the icon at the top which says "Click to Spritz."
