Hear Hear! I can't do without my daily fix of the Guardian crossword.....
Though at the same time of course we are mourning the death of the all-time greatest compiler, Araucaria. His famous special double Christmas crossword will be sorely missed this year.

we've spent a nice day up on Dartmoor, together with a pub lunch. We're now all sat around playing on our various computers/phones/tablets - and that includes Thomas!

 There's only so much time you can spend talking to family... Dartmoor and a pub lunch sounds like a great way to spend your birthday. :D I've just been for a walk and a pub lunch, as it happens. And very nice it was too. So I've been celebrating your birthday for you too. Happy birthday. :D

I'm not just playing games  ........
I'm working hard at solving Wessex puzzles
Well..... not exactly "solving" - more a case of feeling like taking the Jester to the beach and throwing pretty pebbles at him....
