My Double Bluff kind of worked, coz she didn't shoot back at me.
I thought about it, but decided to shoot at kathlyn because she was the person below me on the leader board. Incidentally fernando, you were the person I sent when I deleted the PM to Cenwulf. I changed my mind based on the leaderboard.

Well, I shot at kingsley because I thought she would shoot at Fernando and therefore not me, so I wouldn't die from a rebound! Instead I got shot by Scurra!

well i assumed initially the best tactic would be to shoot yourself
but guessed that wouldn't be allowed

Apologies, Fernando for shooting you. I decided to pick (one of) the people I thought was most unlikely. Clearly I was wrong...

Well that was my theory behind shooting evilkeen. I hadn't registered that there weren't any points awarded for successfully killing someone (I think there should have been, but that's slightly sour grapes

)

should definitely have been points for successfully killing someone.
I just aimed at someone I thought no-one else would try to kill in the hope that he wouldn't try to kill me too.

I don't know. I think there is some merit in shooting Evilkeen!

I don't see why he should be exempt! Whereas an innocent teenager, now that's different...WHAT AM I SAYING? I just put the words "innocent" and "teenager" together!

I must be losing the plot.

You think people should be rewarded for killing?

Mind you, you've probably racked up lots of points for that body in your airing cupboard...

Perhaps I should have given a bonus for killing someone. But there were no points available for killing yourself either.
Totally random Bonus Round
As we wait for a 13th n00b to turn up, here's a bonus question worth 1 point.
When clvrlad became n00b 12, he was automatically credited with 5 bonus points in case he was shot and killed. What was the mistake I made?
Give the answer to this question in a post on this thread.
edit: As Gill is so clearly trying to cheat, I've had to alter the phrasing of my question. Should I dock her a point for doing so?

The answer. Well you did say post "the answer. This is my second attempt at cheating. I PM'd the first idea.

Your mistake was allowing him to become a N00b at all - he's a trouble maker
Or - since I managed a marvellous score of -6:
Cenwulf wrote:The only advantage is that you have 5 honour points so you won't end up with a negative score. In round 8, Laura pressed her own button and lost them all. If she'd started from zero, she would have got a negative score, which can't happen to the most recent n00b.

Yes, I did put that, but it doesn't answer the question.
As you weren't the most recent n00b, you can get a negative score.

OK - I'll be plain...
The mistake you made was stating that HE could not get a negative score, yet if the his circumstances in the round had been the same as mine then he would have had 6 taken off his 5 beginning points giving him a score of -1
Better?

I'll accept that. 1 bonus point to MBH.
I clearly failed to realise that if clvrlad had been killed and his shot had collided with someone else's shot then he would have lost 5 points for dying and 1 point for missing, which is -6 points - but I only awarded him 5. In doing so I overlooked the fact that those who are shot at and survive take 1 point from each of their would-be assassins.

wasn't the mistake in giving the bonus points at all?
just by using the carte blanche you cant get negative points cos your the n00b cover most events that would....
excluding getting one taken off for cheating

What with real life and puzzles and more real life and "stuff" I promised myself I wasn't going to get into any sidelines, even staying out of Word Zendo mostly, and then after joining in clvrlad's "scenarios" despite that, I promised myself I would definitely stay out of sidelines. So having promised myself... well... maybe after the weekend - unless some other n00b feels foolish enough.

SparkOut, you have become n00b 13 whether you wanted to or not, by virtue of being the first person to post who wasn't already a player or the Host.
So here's round 13:
Choc Horror
Fancy a chocolate? Perhaps not - it might be poisoned. Especially as there are an unlucky 13 types of chocolate, and the n00bz have been sneaking in and injecting one particular flavour with arsenic. Here are the fillings:
Brazil nut; Caramel; Coconut; Coffee; Fudge; Hazelnut; Marzipan; Nougat; Orange cream; Raspberry ruffle; Strawberry cream; Toffee; Turkish delight.
Send me a list of three different chocolates. The first is the one you have poisoned, the second is one you will eat and the third is one you will discard.
Scoring:
Your poisoned chocolates are eaten; +1 point per victim.
Nobody eats your poisoned chocolates; -2 points*
You eat a safe chocolate; +3 points
You eat a poisoned chocolate: -3 points*
You discard a poisoned chocolate; +3 points
You discard a safe chocolate; -3 points for wasting good chocolate*
*Does not apply to n00b 13 SparkOut
n.b. It does not matter if several n00bz poison the same flavour. All will score if that flavour is eaten.
