As it goes, she's a bit of an unknown quantity, since her Dad is half Indian, a quarter Irish and quarter Austrian...Wulfruna wrote:Aren't they all if born Anglo-Saxon? Re: Happy thread
Beautiful sunny day, stunning bride, moving ceremony in Loseley Great Hall, champagne (lots) in the amazing gardens, yummy afternoon tea in the tithe barn, speeches which brought a tear to many an eye, wonderful guitar music and singing from Dibble and piano from my niece, a beautiful wedding cake made by my other niece, a brilliant live funk band, lots of dancing and fun.
=Happy Mummy.

Re: Happy thread
The cake, by the way, was lemon sponge, with lemon buttercream icing, and the "confetti" was made by hand, she sliced things like beetroot, pineapple, etc., glacéd (does that word exist??) them, then dried them, and cut them into flower shapes. Pretty impressive when you have a 2 month old in tow!!

So glad it all went well.
I was thinking about you - and even commented to a couple of passers by when discussing the weather yesterday what a lovely day you must have had for the wedding.
Looking forward to more details when you have the time/energy.

Yes, indeed. The weather was perfect. Loseley is in such a nice spot. This is the view from the house.

Sorry, I KNOW I said I would shut up about weddings. But this is the most hysterical photo of K yet. Can't imagine where she gets that big grin from...
