Having a great day. We came to stay at a spa yesterday and go home tomorrow so I have had a complete day off today. Although I have done two or three exercise classes and a 4 mile country hike. But it's been lovely and relaxing as well. :D

It is a Japanese game show that they used to watch when they were younger, it is incredibly silly and hundreds of competitors take part in each show (Have you seen Total Wipeout? It is an extreme version of that) A few get through to the final where they ride around on vehicles which have a tissue paper circle on the front, which they have to protect from a water canon. It is an impossible task and no one ever seems to win. Having equipped themselves with bicycle pump style water pistols they decided it would be entertaining to re enact it. I blame myself, because when they were little we used to watch the Crystal Maze and then build puzzles / obstacle courses for them in the garden.

I can relate to that too. We were often creating races/obstacle courses for ours when they were younger, especially when they had certain friends round to play. But we did have to weight the challenges slightly in favour of the younger children to make sure there was some chance of them winning.

Lovely photo though, hope Lally has had a great birthday.

We had a thunderstorm too but certainly not for hours. N didn't even realise we'd had one as he slept through it! :roll:
