Ahhh - a young man known to write online puzzle games (commercially) who I met earlier today and 'introduced' to the puzzling world of Scurra and Gang ;)

I said you were a fun lot and would make him welcome - and would probably enjoy helping him out by testing his games :D

Welcome Arowx Games. I'm MBH's "virtual" twin (long story). Glad you could join us! (Well, if you're known to MBH and converse with him you must have the necessary qualification for this site - madness!). :D
You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

 To be fair to the guy - he turned up on my council computer bus to see what his games looked like from an 'outside' PC. The conversation went from there (with a demo of the puzzles from the mag).

He made a couple of comments about his puzzle solving that I'd LOVE to see him back up - especially with Lord Sinister

I knew I should have posted more quickly about this one!
"Hints" isn't a new user - it's just the place where you should send your pleas for help.
But it's not operating yet, so for the moment you should carry on sending them to Gill or Scurra.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

I did wonder! but didn't want hints to be upset that everyone else had been welcomed enthusiastically. If it were april 1st I would think you had done it deliberately.

No, that's not true. Although care must be taken on internet friends, YOU are exactly what it says on the side of your tin (as far as I can discern from others, having not met you in person). Mad, wicked, and (just to really embarass you, this is an actual quote from a forum member who shall remain nameless) "a total sweetie pie". There. That spoiled your attempts at being cool and sophisticated, didn't it?

:o

Mad - OK - might go with that one.

Wicked? - Well if we're talking modern language then, "Hey Man - I'm Wicked"

BUT......

I'm neither small or bright yellow, and I don't have a speech impediment

I do have lots of typing impediments. Every time I say something idiotic or blonde it's because I can't type. I'm clearly sophisticated and knowledgeable at all times in real life. :D
