No, I thought it was something your husband made of himself by dressing up as Ringo Starr in a pink suit and wig. (Just found this by accident on the net following a conversation with Gill. How embarassing.)http://www.peppershow.com/show-2008.php

Re: Question for Wireless Laptop users...
Well - I visited what will euphemistically be called 'the problem site', and I think I've solved it. Looking at the "Virgin Wireless Manager" screen on the laptop, and repetedly removing the connection that I thought to be wrong (and watching it reappear after a couple of seconds each time I removed it
), and attempting to change it to manual rather than automatic connection (and watching it fix itself back to automatic before my eyes) I finally figured out that......
The laptop has it's own WIFI technology and shouldn't need a Wireless Manager running on it..... somebody (who isn't putting their hand up, in the extended family of 'experts') has been working from a LITTLE knowledge which proved to be a dangerous thing
I uninstalled the Virgin stuff, re-connected to the network that I'd set up on my initial visits before Christmas, and once that had proved to work I shut the laptop off totally and had the youngster switch it back on and make the connection herself.... All Ok
In conversation with the mother and daughter team the daughter says a classic (and I thought quite rude) line to her mother - "I know more about computers that you'll EVER know!" Quick as a flash I looked her in the face and said "I can fix that"
I told the Mother a story I've been telling a lot of the visitors to my bus: That given a 10-year-old and a 50-year-old to teach, after 10-minutes the child will seem to be racing away. BUT after 10-weeks the adult will know far more and be able to use it better. [Yes!!! I know, there are exceptions at both ends of the age spectrum - stop spoiling my story]
Result - I've got a chargable private tuition job
She has picked up things over the years but has never stuck to any computer courses, and knows that she needs one-to-one tuition to make any progress. She wants to know [lists a number of things including ebay and ticket ordering], and I pointed out that by teaching her the principles she would be able to do all of that.
So - my thanks to those that helped with this thread AND to those that just had fun with it
And for the record, I'm sure I could sort out a discount for purple siblings (but you'll have to pay for the transport)

Re: Question for Wireless Laptop users...
I thought Spectrum was something to do with Captain Scarlet.
And Spectra was to do with Battle of the Planets.
But S.P.E.C.T.R.A. is the Slightly Plump Eccentric Chaste Treacherous Riddler Association.
It was founded by Mr S, and Xeno, Bev, Si and Mike are also members. I'm unsure about joining, as I don't know what's involved.

I think you'll find you're already a member by default.
