I think I need to make a confession though - slightly worried about my state of mind. Anton looked me straight in the eyes, and I went all giggly and girlie!!! I can't believe I'm turning into one of the women who waved hearts at him from the audience!!

Probably Anton du Beke and Erin Boag - it sounds like she's been to see the Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour.

no, it wasn't the strictly come dancing live tour (although I did go to see that in January too). It was Anton du beke and Erin Boag, from strictly come dancing, but without celebrities (i.e. all the dancers were good!) Their tour is called Anton and Erin - Cheek to cheek, and it is very, very good.

Very jealous of you Laura - that sounds great (the music and the dancing, not the looking in the eyes bit ;) )

I've seen Ian Waite and Camilla twice and helped him to dress for his routine the first time I went (part of their dance act is that Camilla gets the dressing room and he keeps the convesation going while getting a member of the audience to help him change his shirt). Tried to get a second chance the next time, but missed out to my friend.

I'm seeing Anton and Erin - Cheek to cheek on April 25th at the London Coliseum :-) And as I know Esther Rantzen she has promised to try and get me to meet them back stage as she knows how much of a big fan I am. 8-)

She really is beautiful. And Anton looks about ten years younger in real life.

Back on topic though - today I;ve mostly bin .... resigning.

Oh dear......... Does that mean you didnt get the job you applied for or that you did? I'm not actually sure whether its congratulations or commiserations.

Well, I think I've got it. My stupid school won't appoint me in my new job until I've resigned from the old one!

I've been told verbally that I can have the job, they just won't put anything in writing. And I worded the resignation so that it basically said, I resign, so long as you're giving me this other job. Hopefully I've covered my back.

That sounds like a totally bizarre rule. I transferred both into a promotion at my present school and to a job at another consortium school whilst still employed in my original job. Don't see why they wouldn't let you. Anyway, congratulations! I hope you enjoy the new job! :D
