Tricia, I believe there is a time delay. Give it a couple of hours and try again. If I'm wrong, Scurra will be out of bed around lunchtime and I'll give him a prod

A time delay, is there? And how long a time delay is it? Considering that I entered the password on Sunday evening, and it's now Tuesday, when I tried to look at the 'Discuss on the Forum' section a few minutes ago it said I wasn't authorised. Or is a certain person still aggrieved at Cenwulf's insults? :?

I'm sure there isn't any need for that either. If there's a technical issue, then I'm sure a polite note or pm to the admin will result in a prompt and professional response to the issue. If unaware of any issue, the site admin will not be in a position to address it. Simply bringing it to his attention will no doubt be sufficient to have the problem resolved with minimum delay.

There is a definite need for feeling baffled when you aren't sure what is going on. :(
Or did you mean a different 'that'? :?

I'm not sure I understand what's going on round here anyway. I'll be glad when Cenwulf returns.

Please just send him packing and don't bring him back. I didn't like him much! Honestly, just pm the editor, and I'm sure he / she'll get it sorted out for you. I can understand why you are feeling frustrated, because you're keen to get on, but this must have been hugely complicated to get up and running, and there are almost bound to be a few glitches along the way. Personally I hate computers, and this is one of the reasons why. They're great when they go right, when they don't they're the most frustrating things on Earth.
