OK so I think I'm going to go for a Thursday in May. Available ones include 4th, 18th or 25th. If Those don't suit I could do a Wednesday instead - 3rd or 10th.

Any good?

OK so 4th or 18th May for anyone else? Happy to do a Wednesday if that's better for anyone.

I have got seven rounds of 10 questions each. They are NOT Puzzlebrain- style, they are straightforward quiz night questions, with a lot of easier subjects featuring like things on the TV etc. so please don't be put off from giving it a go.

I have also got a picture marathon round (again, reasonably easy) and a music round. There will be one final OPTIONAL meta sort of puzzle connected with this which has nothing to do with the quiz, but is there for people who want an extra challenge. I'm just about to make some dingbats, too.

So plenty to get your teeth into, feel free to enlist family and friends. :D

Get out. Now.

(18th May would be fine with me.)
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

I've only just found this, as I was not following the main thread. But I would also be interested to join in on 18th May and give it a go :D . Were you still looking at makiing up teams - or are you offering it to anyone interested?

That's up to you. I don't mind if you want to join forces - in fact, if you would like to start thinking of your team names now...

Although I think, realistically, if I had more than about 8 or so teams I might struggle to mark them and keep posting the new rounds.

So, by my reckoning, I have LAT, Chazzie, Scurra, Maisie Ladybird and Wulfruna taking part (and maybe SparkOut? ) on Thursday 18th? May from 8.30? I'm aiming to have it finished by 11:15ish. I'm only asking because I'm going to try to make myself an Excel spread sheet to do the scores on.

I'm happy to keep taking entrants until Wednesday 17th if anyone else is interested.

Well, I've been spectacularly (for me!) organised, and now have all my questions, table rounds, answers and score sheet sorted. I have also made the optional extra puzzle at the end.

I MAY now have Dibble and his girlfriend enlisted as a team (depending on whether or not they get back from work on time!

If my favourite jester house elf is on form, I'm hoping that a new forum will appear tomorrow (Wednesday), so that you can have a look through the timings, rounds and rules beforehand. I'm planning to kick off at 8.30pm SHARP on Thursday with new rounds being posted every 15 minutes.

Sadly (well, not for him!) Dibble is actually in Canada, so he won't be playing.

I tried to see if Looby was around and might be interested but haven't heard back.

But I might have found a team mate (or, she might have found me!) - we will check out tomorrow evening if we can connect via Skype. That's assuming I don't run and hide when I see what is involved.

 I cannot stress enough: this ISN'T hard. In fact, I'm wondering if some of it is too easy. It's very much general knowledge, and even then, nothing complicated or difficult to remember like politics or history! The optional puzzle at the end might take a teeny bit more thought, but even then, it's totally do-able. I tried that out on D and my friend; they both got there with only a couple of gentle prods.

It's more the getting together aspect that I'm after.

Yes indeed!
How many rounds are there? - and shame about no history or politics I might have been able to rope in N for some help on those!

There are 9 rounds. I was hoping to have all that information for you to look at today, unfortunately it seems that the house elf seems to have disappeared for the day...
