It turned out quite well considering I'm not used to painting on such a gigantic piece of paper and the teacher didn't want us doing life size flowers we had to fill the paper with our chosen flower.

The teacher told us she often paints on pieces 4ft x6ft.

Dehydration festival wasn't quite so hot as in past years. (see previous page post for explanation)
We came away with a first (Kingsley) 2nd 3rd 4th (All Lally) and a 5th (Kingsley) so not a bad day's dehyrating. Back again tomorrow to dehyrate Kingsley twice more.

Along with doing more puzzles in a day than I think I ever have before :D , today I are mostly bin..... NOT getting the phone call from the bike shop to tell me that my new bike is ready...   Despite the fact I was told it might have been on the lorry that arrived yesterday and the guy would call me to tell me if was actually on that delivery. AND he promised he would call one way or the other. Maybe I should post this on the whinge thread as well. Bike shop sales people who don't keep promises. Pah. :x

Oh, and I went out on my existing bike for ... oh ... about 10 minutes. WOW it was COOOLLDDD and WWWIIINNNNDDDYYY today. Definitly not biking weather.

Pah. BB. :( :(

I think it's not that sort of bike!

 That is the EXACT pose my cat takes when she's had enough of me being on this computer.

I love the look of absolute adoration in your cat's eyes, Scurra. Well, they do say love is blind...

Another good day for Kingsley, A third and a fourth against very stiff opposition. I'm a rubbish spectator though. I get so nervous when she plays the piano that I hold my breath and have to remind myself to breathe  , and when she plays Mozart on the Clarinet I have to stop myself from crying  because it's so lovely.

BB - you don't ride around the peak district do you? Matlock Bath is a favourite spot for bikers at weekends.

More conratulations to Kingsley :D

Many congratulations to the Giraffe family. Obviously all very talented! :D
I know what you mean about the holding the breath thing, I do that! (Can be a bit of a problem when my daughter is doing a 20 minute recital!

Very smart bike, BB. I can't see what make it is from the picture though.

Yes, she is still officially the "Cat With No Name". But she does answer to "Cat", "Get Off", "Ow" and "No!"
