Just heard on the news that a helicopter has gone down on east coast of Scotland, it was to do with the oil rigs.

So hope redjimmy wasn't involved. And everyone will be ok.

I don't think she can manage to curl up much in her present state

As for Scurra's cat - however did you manage to get her to sit still for long enough to grab a picture? She's ususally so camera-shy! However, I can definitelyvouch for the response to "No!" - very impressive . And of course she comes running every time in response to that familiar name of "Pssst! Psssst!" However, she probably does deserve her own name by now so perhaps we should have a vote......

Well it isn't of course. So we'll just have to put up with the decision made by the only person with a voice that counts under the circumstances.
Gill, what's the cat called?

Well, P for Puzzle, obviously.
Rather than Pea for Brain... (although her apparent complete inability to find her food dish unless I take her there tends to make me wonder about that.)

no, that's just normal cat behaviour - then, if there's nothing in her dish (that she likes) you're at hand to correct the situation!

Not so far, I think...... though apparently she also has a habit of coming to fetch him in order to accompany her to the litter tray as well........ (if she doesn't fancy going outside)

That cat sounds like she's TOTALLY in control. You'll get along very well just as long as it stays that way. Anyway, I'd like to know what "Cat" would like to call Scurra! (I could make some suggestions...)

...and today I've mostly bin...
taking my Mother for a nuclear scan (it's very odd thinking that your mum is radioactive), then working. Until about half an hour ago. Still, I'm finished for Easter now - WHOOPEE! :D so now I'm sitting in a stupor looking up random things on t'internet.

This is cool...wish I could do it

... ten things at once.

After losing the bus early in the week when the clutch 'went' - off the road for 2 days while they sorted it, and we used every trick in the book to keep our clients learning computers. I get a call at our planned location this morning expecting my assistant to say "OK - the bus is outside - ready when you are" and instead I get "A&E..... Eye problem..... eye drops.... barred from driving... actually, not well enough to come in!"

So there's me quicking finishing off training a library manager how to post new management figures to a specific place, then racing off to collect the bus to bring it back on site, then finding someone to sit with the bus for 15-minutes so I could get some lunch for myself while at the same time trying to track down some 'cover' for the Friday morning session.... In the meantime my boss is ringing for updates and 2 other people are trying to arrange NEW things to do with the bus  All of this at the same time as I had clients coming onto the bus to learn word processing and (in one case) copying CD's of (quite lovely) soft jazz music onto a data stick.

Oh - and I've had a researcher from a university accompanying us all week talking to people about their use and thoughts about using the Internet. [I've told her she wants to ask us lot on a forum..... in fact I might suggest that I do it for them ;) ]

WHEW!!!!

Wish I was finished for Easter. But I reckon you deserve it Bunny.

Today I have been finishing off my month end processing and starting to run the 120 or so reports I need for the statistics I now have to produce in the next day or so.

And trying unsuccessfully to solve just one of the MUMS puzzles :(

:D I'm adaptable.... nothing work-wise tends to worry me. I'm just glad I decided at the last minute NOT to take little Jennie with me in the car. I'm not sure what I would have done with trying to sneak her onto council property (the bus) and keep her quite while everything else went on. Just one complication I was happy to do without.

LAT - I still say those reports should generate THEMSELVES :P

These are something completely different that I do. It has regularly been discussed whether there is any way to get this to happen but the system (in Memphis) is too ancient and complex so this is the best way for it to get done each month - ho hum. I call it my deforestation exercise.
