ynysafari is the MUMS team name. For CISRA we're team yope.

And yes, a correct answer does not count as a "guess attempt".

Well done Team Rebels . A very respectable 34th Position :D and we weren't too far behind team ynssafari who came in at an even more respectable 21st.

Volunteers now for Cisra please. Puzzle week starts 27th April.

Thanks for the fun and dedication.

Well done! 34th is very good going for a first time out. I hope you all had fun. CISRA preliminary round is open now, by the way. Round 2 won't go up until puzzle week, but round 1 is always opened early as a kind of warmup. On the other hand, CISRA tends to be a little less obscure than the university hunts, so it could be a good "warm-down" from MUMS.

Why oh why are both of these at month end? And April is year-end for us too so I will be even more busy at work. In fact I will be in Netherlands for 27th/28th so unlikely to be able to contribute at all then. :(

Yes, well done to Sparkout's team and also well done to everyone on team rebels that managed to solve any of the puzzles. :D (I'd love to know who got each of the answers)

Thanks, it really was a well done to the team, not much to SparkOut... Admittedly I had little time to spare on it, but admittedly I'm not the best puzzler on the team by a long way.

(I know the question wasn't addressed at me but) I did solve Empty Spaces, and XXXX a few minutes after another team member had just put in the answer, as well as getting to the last phase of Apollo 13 and solving it to "moonritsu" - starting a chasing down of anime references - because I'd miscounted the last segment's dashes. Duh. I also got the Mr Men reference and the book numbers, until our resident genius (yay Esme) put in prime for the answer. Plus, I suppose, some useful contributions in some puzzles for filling in lists and suggesting leads.

I liked the hunt on the whole, but while I felt that a lot of puzzles would be very nice individually (leading to a slightly different answer, perhaps) some of the connections from the puzzle to the answer required by the meta were a bit forced, and maybe sometimes the setters lost sight of that. Obviously they needed to obtain a particular answer so they had to work it backwards, but it wasn't fully satisfying that when working in a forward direction, the last step was not always natural.

My only real contributions were finding the backwards tunes' names and finding Percy's Bar and nearly getting the solution on that, but Gill beat me to it and a bit on merry hexmas.

What is our team name for Cisra?
I looked for puzzlebrains on the list and couldn't see it. :?

Puzzlebrains is there, but we haven't entered our answers yet by the look of it, so we are down at the bottom with 0 correct answers.

How many do you need for the Cisra one?

So if we've solved three puzzles why aren't the answers up?
I knew we'd solved two at the time so I was looking in that section!
