Re: Today I've mostly bin...
Glad it improved, SparkOut!
Yesterday we went to that Science Museum exhibition all about GCHQ, spies and codes. It was very interesting, although the interactive puzzle bit was really aimed at kids (needless to say, Dibble and I still did them!
) Then Dibble took us for lunch and went back to work (he works pretty much next to the Science Museum in the Imperial university research bit. )
Then I convinced my husband that we could get some more trains to visit a mosaic tile workshop in south London (you probably heard the groaning!) This was really useful because it meant I could pick some more tiles for my latest project without having to guess what the colours actually looked like online.
This was my last project...

You're only given a little spark of madness. You mustn't lose it.

That’s lovely!

....confused by my garden.
These two photos were taken on the same day last week.

Well your garden seems quite confused too!
Perhaps it was just trying to make an effort to make your photos more colourful? Oh wait...

Re: Today I've mostly bin...
It's bonkers, isn' t it? I've got snowdrops out at the same time as one of my camelias is flowering. I've also got cyclamen and crocuses peeking out. And they'll probably all get severely frosted tonight.
Did you all do the RSPB Garden birdwatch this weekend? I did, so I have been keeping all of my feeders filled up for a few weeks. Pickle also "helped" to distribute the mealworms and currants all over the lawn.
So I had to wait for Fattifer the squirrel to finish gobbling some of those, then the fox to come and hoover up the rest before the birds came along to be counted! We did have a jay come along one day last week, but unfortunately that was fox dinner on Friday.
I ALMOST got to count a red kite, but it actually only landed in the oak tree out the front rather than in my garden, so I was good and didn't. Reliable data and all that!

We "almost" added the red deer.
Re: Today I've mostly bin...
Checking schedules and service updates, weather forecasts and snow reports and then driving from Fork Wigglybum to ferry terminal at Uig in north Skye. Booked on ferry to Lochmaddy in North Uist this evening. Due to return on Thursday.
Re: Today I've mostly bin...
Rainy, blowing hard, very cold but not much snow except a little on the high ground. Some roads were lightly covered in Skye but no bad.

Keep on sending those gorgeious pictures from Scoobyland. Hope you get back ok?
Re: Today I've mostly bin...
Back on ferry this morning, smooth crossing, all fine. I am really liking getting to see places around the highlands and islands.

The first (if you look at it sideways) is my hotel room view last night. The other is from the ferry, just srriving at Uig this morning.

Re: Today I've mostly bin...
On Tuesday, I was out in a force 9 in a small boat in the main channel, beyond the island right of centre in the distance.
