Re: What to wear
Oh yes, I forgot that. What do we have to discuss to frighten off the men then??

I can think of one particular topic that would come under the heading of gynae..................

Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
I know someone for whom that will hold no fear. (Well, not the subject matter. The subject of the subject matter gives cause for concern on occasions.)

Re: What to wear
No, we need to talk about the male equivalent. I don't know what it's called, but I hear that if you threaten a man with a fish hook, a rubber apron and some white wellies, they run away screaming.

Not necessarily. You might have been inviting us to go angling with you?
Incidentally, have you ever noticed that men can't even keep out of that area...
Shouldn't they be called "gal-naecology" and "her-sterectomy" for balance?

Re: What to wear

Mind, only you would consider going angling in white wellies and a rubber apron. I do worry about you, you know.

Standing around in the middle of a river usually involves wellies and waterproofs. A rubber apron sounds pretty waterproof to me...

Re: What to wear
Never mind the title of the thread " What to wear" what do we have to talk about that doesn't reduce us all to tears of laughter? Well done gents.

I'd just like to say... whatever it says at the top of the thread, and whatever crops up in between...

Re: What to wear
I've been invited to a party on Sunday which has a SEA theme. Obviously my body is far to tragic to expose in any way (shorts or swimsuits etc DEFINITELY out of the question), and I'm stuck for an idea of what to wear. It has to be reasonably cheap and no complicated sewing to do. Anyone got any ideas?
(I've been sitting here trying to make a paper necklace out of pictures of seahorses shells and starfish and it looks rubbish.) My son suggested wearing blue and green and spraying my hair either white or silver and styling it into a wave. But I'm not sure where I'd get anything like that or if my hair would behave (unlikely I would think.)
Many many many years ago I won first prize in a fancy dress party when I went as a mermaid. I made a complete shiny tail and wore 2 actual scallop shells over a certain part of my anatomy stuck on with double sided sellotape. I still can't quite believe I actually had the nerve to go out like that!! (That's REALLY not going to happen this Sunday. Apart from anything else I'd probably need loggerback turtle shells now.)

Re: What to wear
what about dressing as a pirate or a sailor?
Re: What to wear
I was going to suggest a sailor, but pirate sounds more fun!

Re: What to wear
Could do...that's an idea. Maybe I could raid David's t shirt drawer for a stripy t shirt* and go for a neckerchief or something. Hmmm

Mind you it probably wouldn't fit. Suppose I could grit my teeth, ignore my principles and go to Primark...

Why would I need that? I've got my own beard!

Three statements that I all think we agree require photographic evidence

How about an all brown outfit, and a green hat with a seagull on it - Yes!!! Go as a CLIFF

Oh, I don't think so. I don't want to scare all of Scurra and Gill's clients away!!Three statements that I all think we agree require photographic evidence

Liking the idea of the cliff. But the seagull might be tricky...
I could go as untreated sewage...

I've rifled through all the boys' clothes. No stripy t shirts.
