Thanks for making me go back and look at it again! We found it quite a tricky crossword and struggled to complete it, so that we didn't think to look for a hidden message
You'd think that Puzzlebrainers would be alert to such things :D  !

  I don't get newspapers (can't be doing with all that newsprint all over the place!) so didn't do it myself. But it did tickle me that they'd done that. Very sneaky!

(whisper) You can do the Guardian crossword online on their website. They used to use the same software that I am now using to embed puzzles in the website here.
Never put off till tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.
All of my puzzles are simple and obvious. For certain values of "simple" and "obvious".

I must admit that I did like using your new software on the crossword. :)

Google "Friends Ross" and click on the sofa on the right of the search page.

...oh, and do the same with the other Friends characters. Although it's very disappointingly misogynistic tagline for Rachel and Monica. :(

Is anyone any good at printer's devilry puzzles? These are driving me bonkers! I've been trying to do a page of fruit related ones, and can only get 12 out of 40 so far! The answers are at the top and the ones in red are the ones I've done.

I'd never heard of a Printer's Devilry puzzle. I've looked it up but I'm not sure I fully understand it.

Are you going to tell us which clues you have solved (not just the answers!)?

Well we've had at least two in Puzzlebrains in the past... maybe I could just rerun all the puzzles because clearly no-one remembers any of them. Except, perhaps, the fish. :D

Was there one which was something to do with Christmas cake? Or did I imagine that?
